Happy 6th Birthday, John Mar!
yesterday -- missed 2 classes w/ my mom's permission.. awesome! but spent the whole day at kaiser fixin up tita san's prescription & chemo appt.. the doc & nurses really liked how i knew my info & the fact that i asked a lot of questions.. the only reason why i asked a lot was cuz i'm totally clueless.. anyhow, 'twas enlightening..
today-- shuttle ride to chalon was good cuz i didn't get to sit next to jessica.. haha.. last time i was sittin next to her she went on & on about "lil bunny foo foo".. ay yay yay.. her topic today was "pat the bunny"..
i admire the girl behind me.. "i'm gonna be a doctor not because of the money.. i actually want a regular salary.. my goal is for my parents to retire early.. they've sacrificed so many things for me, without asking anything in return.. i feel like i want to give them my money & say 'here's ur paycheck, pa & ma.. now, relax & take a cruise'"
i'm actually sittin here reflecting on whether being a physician is my vocation.. hearing this girl talk so passionately about her dreams made me analyze the actions & steps i'm takin to fulfill my goal of becomin a doctor.. which, in essence, is nothin.. i haven't researched on it.. have not talked to my couselor about any concerns.. i think it's a dead end.. at least for now.. i've got to organize all my feelings & put the current situation in perspective..
arrived in anne's room.. shmanners!.. "shell shell.. why are u so early?".. haha.. surprise!.. she found my camera.. praise u, Lord!.. talked about the roomy situation.. then off to lia's cuz i didn't want to disturb anne's study.. lia's dead asleep.. my bangin on her door could not wake her up.. booger..
went aimlessly around campus since GLAMA's out to clinicals.. "hey, doctor leigh ann".. kicked it w/ leigh ann for the pi theta mu pie sale.. "y don't u just call it cake theta mu?".. mMm.. i was cravin some chocolate cake.. she gave me some advice about the 'doctor' situation.. very helpful.. laughed a bunch..
in humanities computer lab, if u guys wanna see me.. =P
I'm going to stop procrastinating ... once I get around to it.
